It is notable that in the album artwork, there are directional signs with a strange coding of letters on each one. It is also notable that there are letters of the English alphabet placed, to the untrained eye, sporadically around the album art. However, by using a methond of determining a basic shape around each letter, one can convert the letters of the alphabet into these symbols, and therefore, decode the signs. This plagued the minds of many members of the official website’s forums until this method was discovered and the signs were deciphered.
The first four signs’s meanings are, from top to bottom:
- Hyrule (a reference to The Legend of Zelda series)
- Midgar (a reference to Final Fantasy 7)
- Tristram (a reference to the game ‘Diablo’)
- Traverse Town (a reference to the Kingdom Hearts series)
And the final sign, pointing towards the end of the road, reads ‘Home’
